Oak City Comedy Festival: This awesome event started on Wednesday night and runs through Sunday. Have some laughs with some new friends and discover the hidden comedy scene that Raleigh offers. There are plenty of events this weekend at great venues all over Raleigh!
Uninhibited Grand Opening: Do you like to explore new bars & restaurants? Well Uninhibited is having their grand opening this weekend. The offer international fusion small plates, an eclectic wine list, inventive cocktails and craft beers. They may be worth a look-see!
Friday May 24:
Pescados de Carolina Bobblehead: One beloved activity to do on Memorial Day Weekend is baseball and the Mudcats have you covered! The first 1,200 fans to attend the game on the 24th get a free sugar skull bobblehead. Seems pretty cool… Nothing says patriotism like baseball and a free creepy little bobblehead… Yay Murica!!
Friday May 25:
Carolina Fear Festival & Horror Convention: The Carolina Fear Fest is a 2 day event is celebrating all things in Horror! Come out to meet celebrity guests and like minded horror fans. Show your support so we can get more great events like this in the Triangle.
30th Annual Piedmont Classic Chevy Club Car Show: Classic cars and a beautiful park. Come out to see beautiful cars and enjoy Lake Wheeler Park. While you’re there grab a kayak, go fishing, hang out in one of their 6 shelters or play some volleyball. There’s also a playground for the kiddos!
Friday May 26:
Shamrock Breakdance Competition: Full disclosure, I’m not sure what this is, but it comes highly recommended and honestly.. it sounds interesting! I say give it a chance, if nothing else Imurj is a great space with some really cool people.
