Citrix Cycle: Free Ride Info

Posted on April 8, 2019April 25, 2019

Citrix Cycles are finally here! The contraptions may look a bit funny, but the reviews are in! People are saying the cycles are awesome! Citrix cycles are electric pedal assist bikes which are also known as pedelecs! These motor assisted bicycles offer nimble transportation with a ride that will assist you when you need it most . . . like when you realize Oakwood is actually quite hilly OR on a hot day and you’re missing the Locopops store near NC State. So, in those times, and in all others, the motor on your Citric cycle will make pedaling really easy.  You will feel like you’re drafting the yellow jersey on the Tour de France.

But what are Citrix cycles doing for the city of Raleigh?  These cycles may prove invaluable by giving their pedal assisted energy and corporate influence to Raleigh’s current momentum in becoming a more bike-friendly capital for the State of North Carolina.  The city has considered or approved the addition of bike lanes and even dedicated cycle tracks around the downtown area. These new bike routes would better connect Raleigh’s massive greenway trail system with routes expanding on the current Citrix downtown focus. Bike friendly cities are often inherently also friendly to pedestrians, and both modes of movement offer a healthy and environmentally friendly method for citizens to get from one place to another.

Citrix stations are planned to be added around Raleigh, including at places like the NC Museum of Art, Crabtree Valley Mall, hospitals, and various Raleigh destinations citywide.  Raleigh citizens all across town may soon have ready access to Citrix cycles, and the interest in cycling altogether may increase! We wish Citrix Cycle all the best as they roll along making the City of Raleigh safer, healthier, and more enjoyable for everyone!
