Slice! Slice! Baby!

Looking for Raleigh’s Best Pizza Slice?

If you love big thin New York style pizza slices then you may already know which of the following locations are your favorite. But we’re happy to be able to share with you 5 places in Raleigh that you can go to get a great slice of pizza. In no particular order, here you go!

Demo’s Pizzeria & Deli

Demo’s is located in Glenwood South and offers excellent meat and cheese options fresh from its deli. Demo’s is sporting a 4.8 out of 5 stars on Google with over 360 reviews. If you’re looking to grab a quick slice before you go bar hopping on Glenwood South this is the spot!

Benny Capitale’s

Benny’s pizza is the new KING when it comes to the size of a slice of pizza. One of my favorite things to do is to order a whole pizza and then struggle to get it through the doorway when I get home. Benny’s has a “Food Challenge” that has been tempting me since I first heard about it, I just don’t know if I’m ready to suffer after I succeed. haha

Randy’s Pizza

Randy has several pizza locations around the Triangle. My favorite spot is located off Lake Boone Trail next to Chubby’s Tacos. Randy’s won 1st place a few years back when we did an online poll asking our subscribers to pick their favorite pizza place. And I can tell you, Randy is a solid option for a slice of pizza!

Ruckus Pizza & Bar

Ruckus brings back so many memories of being drunk at NCSU & wanting to eat pizza that wasn’t Gumby’s. haha But seriously there was always something great about their pizza oven and being able to get a slice for just a couple bucks! They also had pretty cheap liquor. I’ll admit, this was one of my favorite places while I went to NC State!

Oakwood Pizza Box

Oakwood Pizza Box is probably the newest location on this list (and the closest to my house) but don’t let that discourage you. This pizza isn’t exactly New York style either but again, don’t let that discourage you. The venue is that of a neighborhood pizza restaurant and the slice is a bit unique. It differs from the others, more than any other slice on this list. So if you’re ever in the mood for something a bit different. Give Pizza Box a try! And then stroll through the area and check out all the other new bars & restaurants.

Tell us your favorite!
